Looking forward to the 2023 Ford Edge? This upcoming midsize crossover SUV is almost here, and our preview guide takes a look at what you can expect. Since this will be the Edge’s final model year, you should make sure you order yours early!
Why choose the 2023 Ford Edge?
With its roomy cabin and generously padded seats, the Edge is a superstar road-tripper. In addition to seating for five, the Edge also is also big on cargo space, with 39.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats. And you’ll love its sturdy powertrain options, which deliver both surprising speed and a relatively efficient performance, earning up to 23 mpg combined. Every Edge comes standard with all-wheel drive, which makes this a very sporty option, giving you the necessary traction to travel on sandy or muddy trails.
How does the 2023 Ford Edge drive?
This midsize crossover SUV delivers generous power for what always feels like a smooth, sure drive. Most Edge models come with the base powertrain, a 250-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine that sends power to all four wheels. The performance-based Edge ST models give you even more power, compliments of a turbocharged V6 engine.
The 2023 Ford Edge lineup offers two different powertrain options, both of which come standard with all-wheel drive:

- 2.7L turbo V6 (335 hp, 380 lb-ft) + seven-speed automatic transmission
